With more than 25 years of operational and business turnaround experience, Drew McManigle has been instrumental in leading numerous companies through transition in both in and out of court situations. He is a Managing Director of the firm with global experience across a variety of industries including, Consumer Products, Contracting, Defense, Hospitality, Oil & Gas, Pharma & Food Manufacturing, as well as other specialty industries.
Drew’s results-driven leadership style has led to successful outcomes in a number of complex and distressed situations. Some of his more noteworthy engagements include:

Chief Restructuring Officer to a leading national value cosmetics brand in drug and food store markets where he successfully led the company through the Chapter 11 process, which included leading a vibrant 11 U.S.C. 363(b) asset sale that obtained approval in 53 days from the petition date.

President of an oil & gas company with significant offshore holdings in Louisiana and Texas. He managed the investments, inter-faced with operators, reviewed and approved joint interest billings and performed a review of land/offshore ownership and lease records to assess disputed ownership claims. He reviewed historical reserve studies and commissioned an update to establish economic value and negotiated a sale of the company.

President of a bulk fuel distributor where he supervised the operation of the Company prior to its sale to Diamond Shamrock for $16 million. He provided direction and business advice to operating management, directed its legal affairs and had multi-year oversight of a fuel spill remediation site. He was also responsible for the investment and distribution of the sale proceeds.

President of a struggling home healthcare division of a $100 million organization where he stabilized operations, assured adequate financing, and profitably sold its New York operations. Within 13 months, he divested 14 recalcitrant franchisees, without litigation, which enabled the company to restructure.

Appointment by a Federal Bankruptcy Judge as an Operating Chapter 11 Trustee; Selected as an Assignee in multiple Delaware assignment for the benefit of creditor cases; chosen to serve as a Chapter 11 Plan Administrator; appointed as a State Court Receiver; and, as a Receiver, in The British Virgin and Turks & Caicos Islands.

Drew began his career in the Permian Basin of West Texas where he was a former officer of an oil-well servicing company. He attended Texas Tech University and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. He is a published author and a reputable public speaker in his field.
