HAPL April Live Webcast


Join us online for a live webcast of the HAPL April Luncheon being held at the Petroleum Club. The topic is “How Independent O&G Companies Can Lead Decarbonization” by Tim Duncan, President & CEO of Talos Energy Inc.
 
1 RPL/CPL credit will be available. We will email out the credit form after the meeting has ended. 
 
Once you have registered and paid, a link for the live webcast will be emailed to you. You will need to register again with Microsoft Teams to attend.

This registration is for the live webcast of the March luncheon. If you register for the live webcast and decide to change to the in-person luncheon, you MUST let the HAPL office know by Wednesday, March 30, 2022. You will then owe the difference between the live webcast and the in-person luncheon. 
 
If you make a reservation, pay for it, and later decide to cancel it before the reservation deadline, you can apply for a refund through the HAPL Office.   We must receive your request to cancel your registration at hapl@hapl.org.  You will receive the total amount charged minus a $5.00 credit card processing fee.  The deadline for this event is March 30, 2022.

Refunds cannot be made for reservations that were paid for, but not canceled before the reservations deadline. When that happens, you are considered a no-show.
 
All pre-registered members/guests/non-members for this event that have not prepaid and do not attend will be billed as a no-show.
 
*No refunds will be given to those who were registered to attend the luncheon in person today but then switch to the virtual option. However, we will send you the link to attend virtually.

Tim Duncan is the President and CEO and a founder of Talos Energy Inc. (NYSE: TALO). Headquartered in Houston, Texas and founded in 2012, Talos Energy is a leading offshore energy company focused on offshore oil and gas exploration and production as well as the development of future carbon capture and storage opportunities in the United States Gulf Coast, Gulf of Mexico and offshore Mexico.  Talos became a public company in May 2018 following its merger with Stone Energy, transitioning from a private company initially funded with $600 million of capital commitments by two leading global investment firms.  Talos is the third company that Duncan has built with partners over the last twenty years, following the success of Gryphon Exploration and Phoenix Exploration.  Since inception, Talos has grown from 5 original employees to over 400 employees and is today one of the largest independent producers in the basin.  Talos has been named a Houston Chronicle Top Workplace for the last nine consecutive years. 


Mr. Duncan earned a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University, where he was honored in 2012 as a Distinguished Fellow of the College of Engineering.  He also earned an MBA from the Bauer Executive Program at the University of Houston.  In June 2016, Mr. Duncan was named as the EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Energy & Energy Services sector in the Gulf Coast area.  Mr. Duncan is currently the Chairman of the National Offshore Industries Association (NOIA), a leading offshore industry association.  Mr. Duncan serves on the board of directors of Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK) and the American Cancer Society CEOs Against Cancer Houston Chapter.  He also serves on various academically focused boards including the College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Council and the University Foundation Board at Mississippi State University.
